Arlington Row was built in the 14th century and was originally a monastic wool store. In the 17th century, it was converted into cottages for local weavers. Nowadays, it is occupied by tenants, and attracts thousands of visitors every year. William Morris famously named Bibury as the most beautiful village in England.
